I'm finally sharing the homeless care package project that I did with a few of my sweet friends! We were planning to do this in January since it was on my list of goals here but because of the winter weather and ice that trapped us in our homes we couldn't make it work. We finally completed the bags at the end of February and I really love how they turned out! I was so excited to find these awesome bags at a dollar store because I wanted to package them in something that could be reused.
I love my friends and I'm so happy that we could get together, eat some snacks and sip on some wine while we put these bags together. We each took 5 bags to keep in our car so we could pass them on to someone we see on the side of the road with a sign asking for food or money. I think something like this could help a lot more than five bucks.
Deodorant // Toothpaste // Socks // Toothbrush with mini toothpaste //
Two Band-aids // Chewy bar // Hand Warmer
I challenge all of you to make some of your own bags to keep in your car. Get a group of friends together and split up the list of supplies and enjoy working together to give some love out to those who really need it. We are called to serve the Lord by serving others and I pray that the people who receive these bags know that they have a Savior who will take care of them.

My friends would love to do this. We were also thinking to help courier services Dallas by offering them pretty packages but we are not sure if they will accept are offer because they are very strict about their packaging so as to avoid any damage or mis happening.
