I'm a  big fan of busy weekends with family and friends because I love to stay on the go and spend time with those I love. Over this past weekend, we had a full schedule with a baby shower for my cousin and a wedding for another cousin. A lot of love and family, for sure! There was also a lot of pollen all over Greenville and I didn't have much of a voice for most of the weekend. Sadly, the allergies have turned into a cold I think, so I'm a little late posting all these sweet pictures but, better late than never! 

My cousin, Joni, is so excited to welcome her first boy! 

After two girls, this little man is going to be so loved and spoiled!!!

Of course, Joni also made the cake and cupcakes since she is so talented and insisted on designing them. They were so cute, she is incredible! 

Then, on Sunday, we got to celebrate my cousin Meghan and her marriage to her sweet man, Matt! They are so perfect together and I loved watching them tie the knot. The wedding was an afternoon ceremony and dessert reception. My weekend included a lot of sweets & I definitely didn't mind! 

Meghan let me bring Jocie as my date since Peter was out of town! 

It was nice to have some girl time!!

Happy first day of April!!! April Fools Day on Friday, that's kind of fun! I always laugh about April Fools Day because way back in the day, before babies and marriage and our engagement, Peter and I announced our big "we are dating again after three years of dating and nine months of a breakup" announcement and everyone was like, what...? Really? Is this a joke?? Anyways, it was the best non joke April Fools Day ever. I'm excited about a busy weekend full of fun things to do.... Spring is officially here and the weather is going to be amazing! I'm hoping to spend a lot of time outside with Solomon and also get our house organized when we aren't busy with plans. Hope you all have a beautiful weekend and get some Vitamin D and enjoy some fun jokes!!

Total mom moment, but having our new washer and dryer to do laundry has been such a huge perk this week!!! Thanks to my sweet friend, Whitney, for the awesome deal on the set!

Wanna do list // Spring 2016.

That time already, and since my Winter To Do List wasn't that successful I'm going to look at these as a Wanna Do List instead now! ;) Less pressure, more fun! After all, our days and nights are full of fun things to do so I'm going to make these for some extra fun if we have time.

1// go out for a family date to lunch

2// buy a cute swim suit for Solomon

3// take mom out for a pedicure and lunch (seriously going to happen this time!!!)

4// check out a new restaurant downtown for a date night

5// have a cookout in the backyard 

6// bake fresh bread

7// finally have the house "facelift" completed

8// start walking with Solomon consistently since he loves being outside

9// donate winter clothes that I didn't wear 

10// set up a park play date with friends and their babies

Easter 2016.

Easter weekend was crazy busy but it was wonderful! I loved seeing so many family members and celebrating our Risen Savior. It is the best holiday!! It was also fun to start a new tradition this year at my aunt's house. She hosted an Easter Egg Hunt Brunch on Saturday morning for the whole family. It was great to start the weekend off with some delicious food, hot coffee and sweet babies! 

& then my camera died.... :( 

after the fun morning with my Mom's family, we went to Travelers Rest to have lunch with my Dad's side. Yummy Spaghetti for lunch was such a good idea. We ate well all weekend!

Preparing the lamb every Easter is my favorite project. I called dibs on the holiday when we got married and there was a chance I'd have to give it up this year, but it all worked out and I'm so happy we were able to host the Sunday lunch for our family! 

So excited to be the King of the table!

It has been a busy, busy week preparing for Easter and trying to soothe a teething baby as much as possible. Let's just say it, Momma is tired, I'm so looking forward to this weekend though! I can't wait to see family and celebrate our risen Savior. Hope you all have a beautiful weekend and I pray that you find hope and love in the true reason for this Easter weekend!!!
