So… I know that I just put up some of my new Forever21 Spring Faves in THIS POST but I couldn’t resist showing off some of my newest faves that I saw today. 

If you ever shop at F21 in the store OR online I’m sure you’ve seen a grunge look with most of the clothing… but today when I was checking all the New Arrivals I definitely noticed a classy, tailored look what made me VERY happy!  Here are a couple of examples!

This button down would be adorable for work with a pair of slacks and a blazer 

OR for a date night with some skinny jeans and heels

And this animal print sweater is so stinkin cute with a funky print but classy fit!!!

I completely fell in love for these awesome wedge loafers, 

they are so awesome and I'm sure SO comfortable!!!!  

Not sure what’s going on with the New Arrivals but I like it!!! 

Even if the model does need to eat a couple cheeseburgers!  ;)

Snowshoe Weekend

So, I learned a few things over the weekend.... 

• I cry a LOT when I get frustrated. 
• I get frustrated VERY easily.
• I have the most patient, loving boyfriend ever!!! 

Yea... snowboarding is not my thing.  Don't get me wrong, I was super excited to have some alone time with Peter while he taught me how to snowboard and take cute pictures in all the snow but that just didn't happen!  

After I let Peter go snowboarding with some of the guys for a few hours so he could actually have some fun we decided it was time for me to try and have some fun too.  We also thought it would be a good idea to start off small on the slope that took Peter less than 4 minutes to complete.  

.........after 90 minutes I finally found the end of the slope.  

Within the first 5 minutes I was already crying.  In the past 2½ years Peter has seen me cry a few times but NEVER like this.  I was embarrassed, irritated, annoyed and of course frustrated.  I just could NOT get the hang of this stupid board that was attached to my feet!

Now a normal person would give up on someone who was acting like a complete baby, sitting in the snow and saying over and over "I DON'T LIKE THIS" but not my sweet, wonderful boyfriend!  

No... he just kept saying things like, I believe in you... you can do this... I'm not going to let you give up... we don't have far to go.... I'm right here, I won't let you fall.... I could go on and on with all the amazing things he kept saying when I was having my many breakdowns.  

And of course he was right... I did get, well sorta got it finally at the end of the slope but after the 90 minutes of constant falling on my poor knees there was NO WAY I was going to attempt another slope.  After some lunch and a ride back to the house Peter went out with the guys again while I took a much needed nap since I was physically AND emotionally drained.

I wanted to take a picture after surviving the slope but since I looked like a complete mess and 

a "raccoon" (Peter's words) the camera was definitely not used.  

After the wonderful nap, a face scrub and reapplying of the make up this picture was taken at the bar after dinner while we watched the AMAZING Jets game!!  After a very long day it was a perfect ending!  

I joked around on Facebook about this trip being a "relationship strength building exercise" but that's exactly what it was.  I definitely knew what an amazing guy I have but after this weekend I have no doubt that I am the luckiest woman alive!!!  So, thank you Peter for your patience and ability to calm me down when all I want to do is jump off the cliff. ;)  I love you!!

Wishing.... but waiting!

So, I was doing my daily Forever21 “glancing” and I started to notice a beautiful SPRINGY style about the new arrivals!!!  This made me SOOO happy!  Don’t get me wrong, I do love the winter and I don’t want everyone to think that I am wishing it away but I absolutely love weather change no matter what time of year!!  

It makes me so happy! 

Anyways… this dress didn’t really help contain my excitement… check out the back!

I love that the new Spring 2011 style is going to have tons of wood platforms.  So funky and earthy!

And I don’t know about you but THIS girl loves a great Maxi Dress 

and this one is screaming my name!

& lastly but definitely not least… I already have this in my Shopping Bag right now! 

So classy and I love the color.  It would be so nice

tucked in a simple black skirt for a spring date night! 

WOW… so yes, I love Winter but I will definitely be welcoming the beautiful Spring!!!!!!

So now I must go pack VERY warm clothes for the freezing cold weather this weekend!!

drive up to West Virginia and a fun and safe trip!  

Can't WAIT!

A few months ago Peter and I had an exciting chance to go on a mini vacation with some awesome friends from Kickball and we definitely jumped on it!!  Sadly the vacation didn’t work out since they had too many people book and there wasn’t any room for us…

THEN I got a text from the wonderful Dayna on Saturday night letting me know that a couple had backed out last minute so we could go!  If I weren’t lying on the couch sick as a dog when I read her text I would have been jumping up and down!  Now that I am feeling MUCH better I really am jumping up and down because we are going here…

SHOWSHOE MOUNTAIN, WEST VIRGINIA!!!! 

Keep in mind that I have NEVER been skiing or snowboarding but I’m still excited!  It will be such a blast to have a nice (cold) weekend away with my favorite man, plus 14 people… whom I only know 2 of… should be a blast since I’m always up for meeting new people!  We have a condo on the mountain that sleeps 16 people with a HOT TUB!  We will leave on Thursday around lunch and head back on Sunday sometime.  I’m so psyched!  Also checked the weather and it’s supposed to be snowing or flurries all weekend… PERFECTO!

I will document the entire trip for a recap post full of details and pictures!

hmmm?

Didn't think that I would start off the New Year of 2011 sick...  

BUT from 8 to midnight on New Years Ever I had a lot of fun!! 

We started the dinner with a sweet toast at The Green Room!  

We had dinner with this beautiful couple! 

So happy I got to spend some of New Years Eve with them!! 

Then Joy and Fadi came to meet us for some dinner too. 

It was nice to eat some delicious food with wonderful company!  

They also gave us these awesome New Years headbands to match our sparkles!!

BUT of course the best part of the night was bringing in the new year 

with my amazing, sweet, loving boyfriend!! 

Can't wait to see what will happen in the 2011!!!!  

Whatever it is I know it will be a complete blast! 

Right now I am going to go to bed and hope I feel MUCH better tomorrow... 

This cold, flu, stomach bug thing is not a lot of fun!
