Hello! I'm Cassie — follower of Christ, wife to my best friend, momma to one sweet boy with one more baby on the way , & a cloud nine seeker.

I recently celebrated four years of marriage with the man of my dreams, but our story isn't your typical love story. We had some ups and downs during our dating story which involved a few breakups, but we firmly believe that the Lord used those twists and turns to teach us to rely on Him wholeheartedly. After three years of dating we decided that we should go our separate ways and, thankfully, God intertwined our paths again after nine months. We have been inseparable ever since. We were engaged six months later, then after eleven months, we finally said I DO on September 28th, 2013. Then, we welcomed Solomon, on September 14th, 2015 & we are now expecting our second baby boy in December!

Peter's an electrical engineer; I stay at home with our family. He loves excel spreadsheets and long term plans, I go with my gut  and change my mind often. We realize those traits don't always go together, but we make it work with a lot of grace and the willingness to always learn how to be a better spouse. Our rule is to continually find forgiveness that is rooted in HIS forgiveness for us.

I love: Jesus, my forever guy, our wonderful family & friends, good food, craft beer, black coffee, & Netflix binge watching – pretty much in that order.

My weaknesses in life include: paper products, pimento cheese, forehead kisses & online shopping.

I truly believe that life is too short to fill your glass halfway empty, so I prefer to fill my cup all the way up with the many blessings in our life. Living on Cloud Nine is a choice, and I love to share the many aspects of our cloud nine life here. The happy, the messy and all the little things in between.
