Yesterday was a slow day at work and I had every intention on going to the gym after but when Peter asked if I wanted to meet him for Happy Hour at Brixx with a couple of his co-workers I couldn't turn that down.  It was the perfect way to enjoy the evening!!!

Peter recently got Netflix for his PS3 and we started watching this... On Sunday night we watched 2 episodes and I think we only have 2 left.  I'm honestly a little bummed!  Definitely check it out if ya can.  Another Happy Moment on Sunday... my Dad turned FIFTY.  I can't believe it!  We celebrated with a steak and potato with some salad, great Sunday Dinner!

Saturday was a wonderful Summer day!  Slept in... Got ready for a pool Party... played with a lot of kids... dressed up for some downtown fun... and had a wonderful night full of chilled drinks!  My friend Megan is visiting from California so Peter and I took her out downtown.  One of the stops during the night was The Trappe Door... if you haven't been you should definitely go!  Awesome beer and the food is great too!  We've been a few times now and every time we go we try something different and we've never had anything that we didn't like.  That's saying a LOT since Peter is one of the pickiest food snob's I've ever met... ;)  When you go try the fries... they have tons of dipping sauces to choose from and the garlic is the best!!!  Just don't plan on kissing anyone for the rest of the night, ha!

Lunch Dates with my wonderful man again

When I used to work in Greenville I always enjoyed a lunch date with Peter at least once a week and I've missed that SOOOO much over the past couple years.  For some reason he didn't want to drive to Spartanburg to take me out to lunch...?  So, I enjoyed it very much yesterday!  Two Chef's for lunch since it's in my building and then a little stroll for gelato!  Perfect lunch date. :)

& Yes, I skipped Thursday's Happy Moment... it was a busy day and even though I was happy I didn't have a chance to blog about it.  A few things that made me happy on Thursday were: Lunch with friends, learning a lot at work, rainy morning, sunny afternoon, going away party for a friend & meeting new people! Also had some happy times with a few of my girls at Dinner Club last night but more on that later! :)

Happy Moment 22

Working Downtown makes me VERY happy.... 

And that tall building with the triangle top... that's where I work now.  Right in the middle of downtown, conveniently across the street from Carolina Ale House which is also where I had lunch today!  Yup... definitely going to love working downtown every day!  Tomorrow is FRIDAY!  Woohoooo, I've almost survived my first week!
